About Sandy Brooke
Born in Oregon but spent my formative years in southern California. Lived in Anaheim where Knots Berry Farm housed our church and Disneyland was my brothers and my playground. Mom was a showgirl and a model so I grew up modeling.
After years of modeling, acting came just kind of naturally. On all the photo shoots or movie sets I always found myself drawn to the behind the scenes stuff. To me it was much more interesting than coming up with a new expression. I’m sure I was a big pest, but I also learned a lot. I loved to design my own backgrounds for my modeling portfolio shoots much more than I liked being in the picture.
I started video taping weddings in the 70’s. Ten years later I had an all women crew of employees and we recorded and edited over 300 weddings and events a year. After both of my parents went to heaven with in 4 months of each other I decided to move north and be closer to my two wonderful brothers. I purchased a vacation rental in Grass Valley, California.
After 8 years of running and living on a 14 acre property with a 3300 sq ft log home to maintain and run by myself, I decided the video business was again where I really belonged. I know that the videos that I create live on long after I’m gone, and that gives me a sense of pride to create a video memory for you that you will consider
to be among your greatest treasures.
A video you take out when you’re alone to watch and give you that warm fuzzy feeling like nothing else can. Or when the whole
family gathers and you want to relive that special time again. If any one had told me 30 years ago that some day we would be making video’s to play on a little flat disc smaller than a record, I would have thought they were nuts. Now not only do I do that I put your picture or your flowers on the custom label. (Look under covers, you have to see to appreciate it.)
Your Memories are My Business, and I would be more than happy to create them for you to relive and share with your family. You proof the final copy and no video is finished until I see you cry and you say:
“You did it Sandy, that was so beautiful.”
Call and let’s talk about your memories.
